About Flux by SKE

My love for glass began in 2015, after taking a glass blowing class – I was hooked!  Stained glass classes followed, more glass blowing classes, books, YouTube videos, Facebook groups and more classes. 

 I am fascinated by the way light interacts with the many colors of glass and particularly drawn to the beauty and fragility of glass.  I quickly fell in love with the process of transforming molten (kiln fired) glass into something beautiful using glass powders, frits, rods or sheets.

I am a part-time glass artist and currently works out of my home “studio” in Braintree, MA.  I am always looking for my next class to learn a new technique and always excited to explore new creative challenges.
